Please join us for a ride to the Tampa Electric Manatee Viewing Center in Apollo Beach.

As water temperatures cool, manatees find refuge in the warm water of the TECO discharge canal. This provides an outstanding viewing opportunity (and a great excuse for a ride)!
After visiting the manatees we’ll stop for lunch at Circles Waterfront. http://circleswaterfront.com/
The ride will start from Richards Coffee at the Winter Haven Public Library. http://www.richardsfinecoffees.com/
We’ll meet-up by 9:15am and be on the road by 9:40
The coffee shop is on the SW corner of the Winter Haven Public Library. It is 1 block N and E of the intersection of US 17 and Central Ave

Next stop: 10am Bartow
BP on the N side of Hwy 98 near Wal-Mart. This is a good spot to top off the tank and for us to meet up with our Lake Wales and S. Lakeland friends
Next stop will be in Lithia by about 10:45am
We’ll stop for a moment at the shopping center on the NW corner CR 39 and Lithia Pinecrest Rd to pick up any Plant City and Zephyrhills friends
By 11:30 we should be at the

From Winter Haven to Apollo Beach the ride is about 55 miles one way. Mainly back roads will be used, but we will be traveling over 45mph. Please sign up in the database if you can come.
